Glaring sun on low water in the Loch Hourn river. For days on end it did not rain and the river is almost empty. It is very hot too, under a glaring sun that together with the ripples and wavelets on the slowly moving waterlayer projects beautiful crinkles on the stones in the riverbed. Stones with algae are never above the surface: the minimum level.
