A moss-clad waterfall in Allt Coire Lair from the side. The speeper waterfalls that are only occasionally assaulted by wild water during heavy showers, sometimes show these spots with their bizarre colours. The mosses that grow on it apparently can withstand the periodic water violence. Usually, they don't face due south.
