Pocahontas peers into the sun over the mountains… Mieke on the northeastern flank of Buidhe Bheinn, below the first summit. Thick clouds with their heavy shadows make for enormous contrasts. The big and the wee Mhaoraich are almost black. Far, far away, next to the Gairich, in a dip in the horizon, there’s a ghost of Ben Nevis.
