Backlight view west from Allt Ruighe nam Fiadh, shot while we were descending by the rifts. In the fierce afternoon sun the slopes are turned into velvet. Coire Lair has been filled with deep shadows above largely invisible Coire Sgoireadail, and Loch Hourn is a silver mirror. Let's be honest: this is calendar kitsch by under- and overexposure.
