Today we're going up from Drochaid Allt a' Bhodaich in the pass between the Quoich and the Hourn. The day started rather dark, but it's clearing a bit; we park the bikes - with guy ropes! - at the bridge as we want to cross Sgurr a' Chlaideimh from here to Gleann Cósaidh, a tip from Peter MacRae. That steel mess around here is part of the hydro works, a contraption by which the hydro conspiracy steals water from the Loch Hourn River for the 'reservoir' Loch Quoich.
