Struggling birch tree in Doire Asamaidh. In these hillside woods in the initial part of Glen Barrisdale, below the sròn of Sgurr a’ Choire-Beithe, birches have trouble staying upright on the steep slope. Part of this area is now fenced off to protect it from too much browsing by the deer.
