Every now and then the southeastern face of Stob a' Chearcaill is revealed through the haze. But soon it vanishes again in the shiny vapours, to reappear for a second. This particular face - the 'cheek' - is unclimbable now, but we'll go up by the steep scree-face on the left, as yet invisible. For the moment it's hardly raining - let's hope it stays that way.
