Lochan nam Breac with its narrow sandy beach and the flushed-down rim of molinia grass. This view is from the eastern part of the path to Loch Quoich, with the water almost over the sand. The rim of molinia marks the high-water line, where the lochan last reached on a rainy day. In '92 we'd put our tent around there, when the beach was dry, but overnight torrential rain pushed the water level as high as that rim. Hence the adventure quoted with the previous picture (199_0622_114000NLH).
