View of Meall Buidhe and Ben Aden from fog-filtered sunshine. With all this quartzite around, in most places we walk over a coarse kind of paving, perfect against slipping. A welcome provision, for everywhere around here the rock contains a criss-cross of large and small flakes of mica, looking black against the white quartzite.
