From the top of Sgurr na Cìche: Loch Nevis... and the ghost of Eigg. In the narrows of Loch Nevis we can see Kylesknoydart at about 6.5 miles; in the ocean Eigg is barely visible at some 19 miles. Let's have our lunch at this beautiful spot with its wonderful view, hazier and hazier. Fresh air too, but alas: also in a total lull - so midges too, at over 3400 ft!
