The last of the snow on Sgurr nan Coireachan - and we're dying of thirst. After the scorching climb we're surprised to find any snow left, below the furrowed northern slope of Sgurr nan Coireachan, where Druim Buidhe begins. While ascending the Cìche we met an abundance of lochans, but after that it remained unexpectedly barren, so all our water ran out.
