Another rejected preliminary sketch for Landseer's Monarch of the Glen. Behind the rock is the slope towards Meall a' Coire Dhuibh, where we'd started out yesterday. We're taking it easy, but even so it's well before ten when we're ready to leave this ideal spot. We've calculated that a return by Gleann Cosaidh and Glen Barrisdale must be feasible.
