A hazy view of Loch Loyne from the top of Màm na Seilg. From up here, Loch Loyne looks deceptively pristine (it's not). Up here, it's really just like a tundra leading all the way to Spidean Mialach. A tundra, by the way, that swarms with dunlins, dotterels and golden plovers. We carefully avoid stepping on a nest; strangely, the birds tolerate our presence without panicking.
