Blue-black monstrous dragonfly near the old road to the isles. At Tom Doun begins the old splitoff to the dilapidated bridges over Loch Loyne; now it just serves as a forestryroad. Half way there we cut off west to the fence, and there between the scrub we find this monster, a blue hawker (Aeshna cyanea), we think - in Dutch we'd call it by a name meaning glazier.
