Club moss with spore-bearing 'ears' or spikes in Coire a' Chaorainn. Where the flat part of the corrie becomes less soggy, we find lots of club moss in the jumble of herbs and molinia grass. The pale and maybe not quite ripe spikes look like they're from another planet. Imagine how in the arbonaceous era their treesized ancestors dominated their surroundings.
