Brilliant golden saxifrage in a wet place, sprinkled with... bird droppings? The main branch of Allt Coire a' Chaorain doesn't run buried under rocks for all the distance, but a bit further it comes down by a narrow gorge. In it thrives a varied collection of herbs, as this gracefully dewy (and sprinkled) golden saxifrage. In this shadowy spot now well visible in the brightening sunlight.
