Lochan Bealach na h-Oidhche is located between Beinn a' Chapuill and Beinn Sgritheall. From the eastern edge of Beinn a' Chapuill we have to descend steeply into the initially very dense mists. Sometimes we are surrounded by ghostly deer shadows. Then we suddenly look down on the Bealach na h-Oidhche and its own loch. Beinn Sgritheall remains in a haze, down below is Loch Hourn.
