Where we're walking ourselves it's clear now, but the road ahead, over the Cluanie Ridge, still disappears in the mists. In this shot the incipient erosion along this path, with its annually increasing crowds, is clearly visible. At Meall Buidhe we've seen that a whole turfblanket on a slope can be torn down from such a wound, as if it's opened with a zipper. Cf. previous photos from 200_0618_160500NLH etc.
