Kinloch Hourn comes into view. Evening sun on Sgurr a' Mhaoraich etc. Golden reflections in a puddle that is left over from the rain that fell this morning. We have an old picture of how this scene looked around 1905; main difference: no trees around the Kinloch Hourn estate lodge, as the 'policies' hadn't been laid out yet. (At that time is was a landowners' policy to make an arboretum with exotic trees, hence that weird name.) And of course no high voltage pylons... cf. previous images from 200_0624_100000NLH.
