Cudweed or Mountain everlasting – a species that belongs to the Antennaria genus, we're not sure which species or subspecies exactly. It's a tiny plant, but is a relative of sunflowers and around here it serves as the local Edelweiss; it's dioecious which means the female version differs from the male. (Anyway, we prefer our Dutch name for it: rozenkransje, i.e. wee rosary.) After lunch we'll climb around to the northeast, towards the ridge that leads to Sgurr Dubh.
