Dwarf willow with one catkin on the rounded top of Sgurr a’ Mhaoraich Beag. The top of Mhaoraich Beag is a rounded and fairly level plateau, connected to the top of Mhaoraich Mòr by a somewhat lower bealach. Although it seems the soil there would dry out quickly, the steady condensation from the seabreezes keeps it moist.
