Roseroot and globeflower in the falls at the top of the Slochd. In this dry weather the falls are a network of small gorges. Not only marsh marigolds abound here, but also this Rhodiola rosea and Trollius Europaeus. Roseroot is a succulent and the leaves turn pinkish when they are drying out. Globeflower is a kind of gigantic closed buttercup.
