Peeling an apple just below the summit of Sgurr nan Eugallt, overlooking Glen Barrisdale. Veils are drifting over Meall nan Eun – the tiny mirror at left is Lochan Coire Chaolais Bhig, with An Caisteal beyond it. Over it all rules Ladhar Bheinn. Just now there was a very wet white out and our attire shows that. We climbed here by way of the ridge from Sgurr Dubh, bearing West over dry ground. After lunch we’ll be heading for Sgurr a’ Chlaidheimh.
