The upper Lochan Meall nan Eun in a cloud shadow, mirroring the sky. We’re descending from Meall nan Eun to the Northwest, for the westflank is too steep. Sadly, today we don’t see any red-throated divers, but we do see a bit of the bright sandy beach at the narrows between Loch Hourn proper and Loch Beag (the wee loch). In the hazy background are Sadddle, Sgurr na Sgine and Buidhe Bheinn, mottled by shadows.
