Doing the dishes in the brimful river amidst swarms of midges. The last 24 hours the weather was so wild that we had to shore up the tent with some extra lines. Between the heavy showers we could only now and then step outside for a wee wile, so we had a late supper. Meanwhile the weather abated a bit and the level of the river is already 1 meter lower. But less wind also means: midge alarm, so net on!
