An explosion of Marsh Marigolds on Sgurr a’ Mhaoraich, where the snow has melted away. In such dimples the snow remains longest and it’s precisely there that these flowers burst forth. They are quite a bit smaller than at home, where often five times taller they adorn the banks of ditches and canals through the meadow fields. But in this bright sunlight they’re blindingly yellow, they just hurt your eyes, as they say.
