Mother and son overlooking Loch Hourn and Druim Fada; while we were descending from the western summit of Buidhe Bheinn, the clouds started hanging a bit higher, but it remained dark and gloomy. This class of Scottish scenes is often printed in black an white (monochrome) to emphasize ‘atmosphere’, but subtle, unsaturated colours may actually be more realistic.
