Mieke, Ruth and Jur, climbing Buidhe Bheinn’s steep slope, high above Kinloch Hourn. The sun’s still shining on Druim Fada (centre) and it’s warm and dry enough to go without jackets. But clouds are sinking and Sgurr Dubh, at left, honours its name - dark hill. Ruth is Margaret and Joe’s daughter, and mother of Josh.
