A rejected preliminary sketch for Landseer's Monarch of the Glen. After a deep sleep we're nice and early awake again. But after bathing so intensively the previous night, we're allowed to stay in bed for another half hour. Just before six we'd better get up anyway, for relieving and refreshing. There's hanging some sort of low, pearl grey cloud cover for a change...
